We are an interdisciplinary team of professionals in philology, humanities and applied modern languages, specialized in teaching French, English, Italian, German, among other languages, as foreign languages.

We have vast experience from different fields of action within the area of language education, and with linguistic immersion in French-speaking and English-speaking countries respectively.

We are mainly oriented to the teaching of second languages through active learning methodologies, and the preparation of official exams according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages CEFR.

WHY-WE

Français Nouvelle Vie was created in 2016 in Quebec, Canada. Our business idea in academic products and services was born as a response to the language needs of the Hispanic community and of other cultural origins that coexist in this province.

Over time, we have established ourselves as a language school with high and effective results in the academic and training processes of our students, such as passing official exams, success in job interviews, among other processes.

Today, French has become a language with great worldwide coverage. Based on the communicational method, we direct our classes with the main objective of teaching the student to interact with other people in the target language, which implies all forms of communication: speaking, writing (both reading and writing), the ability to listen and understand what the interlocutor says, and this is most easily achieved by teaching a person in natural conditions.

The modern communicative method is a combination of many ways of teaching foreign languages. Français Nouvelle Vie has a team of highly trained professionals, graduates of applied language programs with an emphasis on French, English, Italian and German, from prestigious universities located in Colombia, France and Brazil. Our teachers have experience both in the didactics of foreign language teaching and in linguistics and translation, support elements that will guide and complement your learning process.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Graduated in Public Administration from the Escuela Superior de Administración Pública and majoring in specialization in Human Resource Management. Carolina has 15 years of administrative experience in the public and financial sectors.
A graduate in Humanities and Languages from the Universidad Libre de Bogotá, Carolina has lived in French-speaking Québec for two years after majoring in French phonetics.

Creator and leader of Français Nouvelle Vie, a project intended for the Spanish-speaking community of Canada and the will-be migrants in Colombia. Currently, Français Nouvelle Vie is present the U.S.A., Mexico, Colombia, Canada and France.

Assistant and human resources manager, academic director. Industrial engineer with 3 years of experience in the public sector in management of government social programs, as supervisor of agreements and 6 years in the private sector in administrative areas, human resources and accounting.

Currently managing France-supported International joined projects. Level C1 DALF certified by the Alliance Française institution in Colombia, with two years of experience in language teaching and emphasis on oral interaction.

He has also worked as a translator and interpreter for various translation agencies in Colombia.

He’s passionate about the didactics work that can be applied to children teaching, without leaving aside the work of adult learning, be it applied to professionals or the elderly. Also, he has participated in teaching materials creation workshops.
